Dorian Denn

American-born, burlesque dancer, Dorian Dennis started off wanting to be a doctor after obtaining a Batchelor of Science degree at New York University but in the 1950s decided to move into the world of burlesque. She was known as Miss French Riviera and travelled across the USA, Canada and Europe earning up to 1,200 a week.

Dorian was a strip-tease artist. She received a B.S. in Chemistry from NYU as a pre-med student, then went to New Jersey to work in a laboratory before trying her luck as a show girl. She later became a showgirl at the Havana Madrid and when she became a striptease artist, she traveled the U.S. and England. More

Dorian unsuccessfully tried to break into films, though she was tapped to audition for a few movies, including Arsenic and Old Lace. She was a very popular model for Irving Klaw's mail order photo business and she did appear in Klaw's 1956 film Buxom Beautease.
