I Cannot Delete Files From My External Hard Drive
I am trying to delete a folder from an external hard drive. The folder is screwing up my back up service. When I try to delete the folder I get the message You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete the folder. I have tried everything I know and I am showing I am the administrator.
I have no problem accessing files on the drive or adding new folders or moving files onto the hard drive. However, I can not delete the files that are on the hard drive. If I right click on the folder or file, the option to delete literally does not show in the menu. I am on the administrator account only account that has been created.
