The Charles M. Murphy Athletic Center, commonly known as the Murphy Center, is the home of the Blue Raider athletic department at Middle Tennessee State University. Opening its doors on December 11, 1972, the building is named in honor of Charles M. Murphy, the former director of athletics.

Built in 1973, the Charles M. Murphy Athletic Center serves as home of the Blue Raiders men's and women's basketball team, who play their home games in the 11,520 seat Monte Hale Arena. It is also the location of the athletic department offices, HPER's department and the Blue Raiders Athletic Association office.
