Solid Void Architecture

A void is a passive architectural feature found in deep plan buildings, which is crucial for enhancing natural ventilation, especially in multi-storey housing. Voids in solid states are spaces between particles in a closed packed state. Solid and void are essential concepts in architectural and sculptural areas, with solid referring to built contexts like buildings and void to unbuilt spaces.
